About the Role
Are you interested in developing new skills? We're looking for a Trade Effluent Billing Technologist to join our team, supporting the accurate and fair billing of trade effluent services for our business customers. You will ensure Trade Effluent charges are calculated and raised correctly for non-domestic customers. You will communicate with retailers, other water companies, and internal teams to resolve billing queries and ensure compliance. Responding to retailer enquiries within set service levels, you will provide clear and accurate information. You will support the Trade Effluent team in meeting regulatory obligations under the Water Industry Act 1991 and MOSL Market Codes. Building strong working relationships with retailers to improve performance measures such as BRMEX scores will be a key part of your role. Delivering excellent customer service to retailers and customers will help maintain Thames Water’s reputation.

Experience
Experience in customer-facing roles and delivering quality service. Strong communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills across different stakeholders. Confidence working with data and interpreting written information. IT literate and comfortable with Microsoft Office.

Excellent communicator with the ability to build strong working relationships. Detail-oriented and able to work within regulatory frameworks. Motivated to deliver excellent customer service and support team objectives.
