About the Role

As a Transport Coordinator you’ll be pushing for innovative solutions to create a more sustainable future for all. You will plan and manage the routing of both the roll-on/roll-off and articulated vehicle fleets to ensure efficient operations and adherence to daily schedules and contractual obligations. You will ensure all vehicle defects are addressed promptly to maintain compliance and, alongside the Transport Manager, keep fleet maintenance up to date in line with the requirements of the operator's licence. You will be involved in improvement projects related to business changes and liaise with recycling centres and transfer stations to ensure all waste levels are collected as planned. Additionally, you will coordinate with vehicle maintenance providers and personnel to ensure smooth operation and adherence to Service/MOT schedules. Experience
Previous experience of route planning and scheduling is essential. Excellent geographical knowledge of Nottinghamshire and the surrounding counties. Experience dealing with both drivers and customers. Computer literate including Google Suite.
