About the Role
Join AECOM's dynamic and multidisciplinary Water Team as a Wastewater Hydraulic Modeller. You will play a key role in delivering impactful water projects across the UK and internationally, supporting flood alleviation schemes, pollution reduction, and infrastructure developments. Our modelling team works fully integrated with wider project teams, collaborating closely with experts to develop comprehensive solutions. You will contribute to projects for public and private sector clients including Severn Trent, Anglian Water, Uisce Éireann, Northern Ireland Water, the Environment Agency, LLFAs, and other infrastructure providers. Your work will involve Flood Risk Assessments, Drainage Strategies, Drainage and Wastewater Management Plans (DWMPs), hydraulic modelling, and detailed design. Experience
Experience or knowledge in hydraulic modelling of sewer networks, including model build, verification, and integrated model development. Familiarity with sewer hydraulics and sewerage systems is essential. Experience using hydraulic modelling software such as Infoworks ICM is required.
About you
Detail-oriented problem solver with strong communication skills to prepare and review technical reports and presentations. Motivated to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams and keen to develop professional expertise in water infrastructure modelling.
Qualifications
Graduate level qualification in a relevant discipline. Working towards chartership with a relevant Professional Institution is expected. Enthusiasm for continuous professional development and commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion.
