
Location
Tidworth, with travel required to Veolia sites across the South region.
Hours
40 hours per week, 8:00AM to 4:30PM, Monday to Friday.
Salary
£30,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus bonus, access to a company van, and Veolia benefits.
About the Role
As a Water Operations Technician, you will play a key role in operating and maintaining potable water networks, water treatment works, storage reservoirs, and water abstraction processes. Your work will involve planning and implementing leakage control activities, analyzing network data, identifying and responding to leaks and bursts, and monitoring the potable water network for flow, pressure, and leakage. You will prepare reports and conduct water quality sampling. This role includes working in high security MOD sites and may require participation in out-of-hours standby arrangements. The position involves working outdoors in all weather conditions and responding promptly to emergency situations. Experience
Qualification or extensive experience in water network and/or treatment operations within a clean water environment.
Thorough knowledge of leakage identification and control.
Experience in valve/network control and isolation operations.
Leakage management and water quality sampling experience.
Awareness of regulatory aspects in the water industry, particularly related to water quality.

Water Regulations Inspector (certified)
