Central District, based at a local office in Sherwood Pines NG21 9JL, Market Rasen LN8 3RQ, or Fineshade NN17 3BB, with regular travel between woodland creation sites in Lincolnshire and occasional travel across the wider Central District. A vehicle will be provided for all business travel.

About the Role
Join Forestry England as a Woodland Creation Works Supervisor supporting the Central Forest District's woodland creation programme. You will be part of a dynamic team creating new multipurpose woods at scale, primarily in Lincolnshire. Working closely with Woodland Creation Foresters, you will plant, protect, maintain, and monitor new woodland across multiple sites. Your responsibilities include planning, delivering, and supervising work programmes for contractors and staff, ensuring compliance with the UK Forestry Standard and UK Woodland Assurance Standard. You will help set and maintain standards in all aspects of forest and woodland management to meet business plan targets. This role involves travel and working across various sites within the Central District.

Experience
Experience in forestry, woodland creation, or land management is desirable. Proven ability to plan, supervise, and deliver work programmes involving contractors and staff is essential. Knowledge of sustainable land management practices and compliance with forestry standards is required.

Qualifications
