About the Role

As a Workshop Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining Veolia fleet and third-party vehicles and plant to factory and industry standards. Your duties will include performing vehicle diagnostics using specialized equipment, conducting hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic repairs, and ensuring compliance with Health & Safety regulations to maintain a safe workplace.
You will complete all required paperwork, timesheets, and operational update sheets accurately and on time. The role involves conducting HGV MOT inspections, preparations, and emergency roadside repairs. You will act as the first point of contact for technicians, coordinating work allocation effectively, managing contractor communications, tire services, and performing 4-point MOT checks.
Additional responsibilities include conducting weekly workshop inspections, managing job card processes, ensuring proper shift handovers, and maintaining technician productivity above 80%. You will also coordinate holiday schedules, training allocation, and wash operative coverage across all depots.

Experience
- City & Guilds or HGV NVQ Level 3 in vehicle maintenance and repairs
- MOT regulations knowledge

Essential:
- City & Guilds or HGV NVQ Level 3 vehicle maintenance and repairs

- Forklift licence (Counterbalance)
- HGV Licence
