About the Role
We are recruiting for an Apprentice Groundworker to join a major construction project in East London. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in construction while gaining a nationally recognised apprenticeship qualification and valuable on-site experience.

You will work alongside experienced construction professionals while attending a dedicated Skills Centre in Silvertown as part of your apprenticeship programme.

Apprenticeship Details
- 15–18 month apprenticeship programme.
- Full-time position.
- College attendance at a Skills Centre in Silvertown.
- Fully funded apprenticeship qualification.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the mobilisation of tools, plant, equipment, and materials to and from site.
- Assist site teams with day-to-day groundworks activities.
- Maintain clean, safe, and organised working areas.
- Follow instructions from supervisors and site managers.
- Participate in daily briefings, toolbox talks, and safety checks.
- Adhere to all Health & Safety procedures and site regulations.
- Attend college and successfully complete the Groundworker apprenticeship programme.
- Develop practical construction skills through on-site learning.

Essential
- Valid CSCS Card.
- Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Strong awareness of Health & Safety and safe working practices.
- Genuine interest in construction and groundworks.
- Willingness to learn and complete an apprenticeship.
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to developing new skills.

Desirable Experience
- Previous construction or site experience.
- Basic understanding of construction site operations.

You are self-motivated, willing to learn, and able to work effectively as part of a team. Good coordination, attention to detail, resilience, and commitment to developing new skills are essential.
