Recruitment Consultant (London)

If you can source, engage and place great people, and you want the work to mean something, this is your chance to do it with real purpose behind it.
GoodPeople are a fast-growing social enterprise connecting purposeful employers to diverse local talent at scale. Think of us as a recruitment agency with a mission: we combine tech-enabled support with in-person delivery to get local people into good work across the built environment, construction, green skills and infrastructure. Our client base spans developers, utilities companies, housing associations and major contractors, through to SMEs.
The market opportunity is huge. The built environment, infrastructure and net zero sectors face some of the biggest skills shortages in the country, alongside a once-in-a-generation pipeline of work that needs local people to deliver it.
We're looking for a Recruitment Consultant who can build relationships on both sides of the market. You'll source, screen and place candidates against live roles, and you'll be just as comfortable talking to employers about their hiring needs as you are supporting a jobseeker into work. You'll work hand in hand with a network of community partners, from training providers and colleges to charities and job centres, to reach people that traditional recruitment overlooks, and you'll use our tools and platform to deliver at volume.
The Role
As a Recruitment Consultant, you’ll take ownership of qualified employer accounts and live vacancies, using a range of routes to source, support and place local candidates. You’ll manage recruitment activity from employer handover through to placement, keep a consistently strong pipeline moving and build employer relationships that lead to further hiring opportunities.
You’ll work closely with training providers, community partners and other networks to reach candidates traditional recruitment can miss, and you’ll use our tools and platform to deliver efficiently and at scale.
You’ll be part of a delivery team led by our Delivery Lead, with clear support, shared standards and a strong focus on quality and outcomes.
