About the Role
Help deliver a more sustainable future with Anglian Water. As a Commissioning Engineer, you will join the Pan-Alliance Commissioning team working within the @one Alliance and Strategic Pipeline Alliance (SPA). This role offers the opportunity to work on a wide variety of clean water and water recycling projects, ensuring assets are tested, optimised, and ready for operation before handover.
You will work within a multi-disciplinary team, playing a key role in commissioning activities across diverse projects. With a strong focus on safety, quality, and performance, you will help ensure new assets function as intended and deliver long-term value for customers and the environment.
Your responsibilities will include supporting the planning and execution of commissioning activities on site, collaborating with design, delivery, and operational teams, assisting in site inspections, testing and performance verification, producing and maintaining commissioning documentation such as method statements and risk assessments, resolving technical issues, optimising performance, participating in site acceptance testing, engaging early with equipment suppliers, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and lessons learned processes.

Experience
- Relevant experience in commissioning, operations, or maintenance, preferably within the water or utilities sector
- Experience working in dynamic site environments
About you

- Proactive, solutions-focused approach with willingness to learn and adapt
- Flexibility to travel to sites within 1.5 hours of the advertised location
- Full UK driving licence
Qualifications
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Engineering (HNC desirable)
- Good understanding of process control, instrumentation, or M&E systems
