About the Role
Kick-start your IT journey as a Digital Collaboration Engineer Apprentice with Thames Water, the UK’s largest water and wastewater provider. You will support frontline technology services including AV, booking systems, kiosks, vending, and print, ensuring smooth operations across the business. Your responsibilities will include troubleshooting and fixing hardware and software issues, performing root-cause analysis, setting up and configuring AV and booking tools, kiosks, vending devices, and print services. You will support meeting rooms, booking systems, kiosks, and print workflows, use monitoring tools to identify issues early, and maintain up-to-date documentation. Working closely with service leads, product teams, and vendors, you will help resolve requests and contribute to service reviews and improvement initiatives.
Training and Qualification
You will study with Firebrand Training Limited, a leading UK digital training provider, through a blend of virtual learning and periodic residential block release at their training centre in Bedford, with accommodation provided. The apprenticeship leads to a Level 4 Network Engineer Standard qualification, aligned with the British Computer Society (The Chartered Institute for IT) Register of IT Technicians Level 4. This is a permanent contract with a 27-month structured programme.

Experience
Knowledge of hardware and software issues is beneficial. Ability to manage time effectively and stay organised.

Qualifications
GCSE Maths and English (grade 9-4 / A-C) required. Minimum 48 UCAS points or relevant Level 3 digital qualification.
