On target earnings of up to £50,000+
Additional £1,000 for 3 phase/CT and/or Medium Pressure qualification
Regular overtime paid at time and a half and double time on Sundays

About the Role
At M Group Energy, we deliver essential infrastructure services across electricity transmission, distribution, renewable energy, EV, metering, and home decarbonisation. As part of our Metering team, you will join the leading provider of metering services in the UK energy retail sector, offering efficient and flexible services for gas, electricity, and water meters.

In this role, you will carry out smart meter installations, investigate non-communicating smart meters, and handle emergency and maintenance appointments. Customer service is a top priority; you will ensure all jobs are completed on time and provide customers with clear explanations about the benefits and safe use of their new meters. You will also respond to emergencies, restoring power or gas when customers need it most.

You will receive continuous training to maintain and develop your skills, with a strong focus on health and safety. Your onboarding journey will prepare you to be an ambassador for safety standards. You will be supported by a friendly team with regular meetings and field management assistance. No two days are the same, and you will have many opportunities to shine and progress your career.

Experience
Experience installing gas and electric smart meters is preferred. Previous MOCOPA experience is advantageous.

About you
You must hold a valid UK driving licence, held for at least 1 year with less than 6 points. You enjoy working independently, have excellent customer service skills, and are motivated to develop your career in the energy sector. You are safety conscious and committed to maintaining high standards.

Qualifications
Essential: CCN1 / CMA1 / CMA3 or NVQ Level 2 in Smart Metering Dual Fuel.
Desirable but not required: REGT1, 3 phase, CT qualifications.
3 phase/CT and/or Medium Pressure qualifications will attract a salary enhancement.
