About the Role
At M Group Energy, we deliver essential infrastructure services for life, prioritising safety, client and customer focus in a friendly, respectful environment where you are encouraged to thrive. As a Smart Meter Dual Fuel Engineer, you will join the leading provider of metering services in the UK energy retail sector, delivering efficient and flexible services for gas, electricity, and water meters.

Your role will involve exchanging traditional meters for smart meters and responding to emergency and maintenance appointments on behalf of E.ON NEXT, ensuring customers’ smart meters function correctly. You will complete around 5 jobs per day, providing excellent customer service by explaining the benefits and safe usage of smart meters.

You will travel around your area using a tablet to manage your schedule, which is accessible up to 2 weeks in advance. Continuous training will be provided to maintain and develop your skills, with a strong focus on health and safety. Weekly meetings and support from Field Managers ensure you are never working in isolation.

With a partnership with E.ON NEXT spanning over twelve years, this role offers longevity and career progression opportunities, with 87% of field managers promoted internally from engineer roles.

Benefits include a company van and fuel card for business use, matched pension scheme, online GP service, employee assistance programme, retail discounts, enhanced parental leave, and a reward and recognition scheme.
