About the Role

As an Energy Projects Development Manager, you will be part of a team focused on developing and delivering decarbonised energy solutions for large energy users. Your goal will be to win high-quality work and set project delivery teams up for success.

You will collaborate cross-functionally with Business Development, Technical Direction, Supply Chain, cost estimating and scheduling specialists. Leading the project execution plan, providing constructability advice as designs evolve, contributing to proposals, and helping build cost and time plans will be key responsibilities.

Customer engagement is central to this role, requiring you to understand customer needs, evolve solutions accordingly, and present final proposals. You will manage complex projects involving interlinked techno-economic capital and operating models and third-party funding mechanisms. Working closely with key supply chain partners, you will ensure the best solutions are offered and projects are deliverable.

Additionally, you will present your work internally through the project governance process, maintain strong links with delivery teams to support smooth handovers between project phases, and feed lessons learned back into future project development.

Experience
- Project management skills and experience in project development within an engineering and construction context, ideally in the energy sector.
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels and in all forms.
- Capability to manage multiple opportunities with competing and changing priorities in a dynamic business development environment.
- Experience with various decarbonisation solutions and technologies is advantageous.

Qualifications
- Degree level qualification in a relevant engineering, construction or commercial discipline is desirable.
