About the Role
As a Field Engineer at Garney, you will serve as the vital link between office engineers and the field team, ensuring seamless communication and project execution. You will be present on-site daily, overseeing that work performed by our team and subcontractors meets engineering specifications. Your responsibilities will include surveying and laying out the job site, processing and reviewing shop drawings, updating as-built documents, auditing completed construction, completing daily and periodic reports, and coordinating subcontractor activities. Additionally, you will handle important documentation and ensure proper receipt and storage of materials. This role offers an excellent opportunity for entry-level project management experience within a leading industry company.

Requirements

Experience
Degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field preferred. Willingness to travel and work flexible hours as needed to support project success.

About you
Motivated self-starter seeking to gain hands-on project management experience. Strong communication skills to effectively bridge office and field teams. Ability to manage multiple tasks and coordinate subcontractors efficiently.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, or related discipline is ideal. A commitment to safety and quality standards is essential.
