About the Role
A Project Engineer position is available at Garney Construction, serving as the backbone of the project management team to keep projects on track. This role requires great attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to plan effectively. You will assist the project management team with negotiating and purchasing materials, maintaining project documentation, and acting as a key point of contact with owners, architects, and engineers. Responsibilities include creating submittals and RFIs, coordinating projects from start to finish, assisting with estimating, project setup and closeout, supporting field operations, maintaining detailed job costs, working professionally with owners and engineers, and assisting in scheduling projects and crews. This position offers an excellent opportunity for entry-level project management experience within the water and wastewater industry.

Experience
Entry-level candidates are welcome. Experience in civil engineering, construction management, or related fields is beneficial but not mandatory.

About you
You are detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Willingness to travel and work flexible hours as needed to support project success is essential. Strong communication skills and professionalism when interacting with owners, engineers, and team members are required.

Qualifications
A degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field is preferred. A willingness to learn and grow within the project management discipline is critical.
