About the Service and Team
Shape the future of our streets and communities. This is an exciting opportunity to join as a Graduate Engineer (Highways & Transportation) within a progressive local authority delivering meaningful highway schemes from concept to completion. You will be involved in the full project lifecycle – from early scoping and optioneering through detailed design, procurement, and hands-on construction site management – with real influence on outcomes. You will work within a supportive, collaborative environment as part of a growing in-house design team and a wider highways service that includes client, commissioning, reactive, permitting, and inspection teams.

About the Role
Supporting the Senior Engineer, you will assist in designing and delivering a range of highway and transportation schemes. You will gain experience across various stages of projects and develop your technical skills in a dynamic local authority setting.

Experience
