£25,000 to £25,500 per annum (£12.02 to £12.26 per hour) dependent on skills and experience

About the Role
Grounds Care Group is offering a great opportunity to join our busy but friendly team as a Grounds Maintenance Operative. You will be responsible for a variety of grounds maintenance tasks including grass cutting, strimming, shrub, bed and hedge maintenance, leaf clearance, planting, turfing, gritting, and snow clearance. This role involves using hand tools and powered horticultural machinery to maintain landscapes across multiple client sites. The work is physically demanding and performed outdoors in all weather conditions. You will need to be a team player comfortable working both independently and alongside others. Note: This job description is not exhaustive and you may be required to perform other related duties as assigned to meet the organisation’s needs.

Experience
Previous experience working in Grounds Maintenance is essential. PA1 / PA6 Certificates are required. A full UK Driving Licence is mandatory.

About you
You must be a team player who demonstrates initiative and reliability. The role requires physical fitness and the ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Grounds Care Group takes safeguarding seriously; therefore, you will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check and provide two satisfactory work references.

Qualifications
PA1 / PA6 Certificates and a full UK Driving Licence are required. Additional training and development opportunities are available within the organisation.
