£28,000 to £30,000 per annum / £13.46 to £14.42 per hour (dependent upon skills and experience)

About the Role
Grounds Care Group is seeking a full-time Grounds Maintenance Team Leader to join our busy but friendly team. You will be responsible for leading a team in delivering a variety of grounds maintenance tasks including grass cutting, strimming, shrub, bed and hedge maintenance, leaf clearance, planting, turfing, gritting, and snow clearance. This role involves operating hand tools and powered horticultural machinery and requires working outdoors in all weather conditions. As a Team Leader, you will ensure all allocated works are completed on time and to a high standard, maintain machinery, manage and motivate your team, and communicate site-specific requirements effectively. You will also proactively plan upcoming works, suggest improvements, and ensure all tasks comply with Health & Safety policies and company standards. This is a physically demanding role that requires a hands-on approach and excellent organisational skills. Experience
Previous experience working in Grounds Maintenance is essential.

About you
You must be a team player who demonstrates initiative and strong leadership skills. You should have an excellent understanding of mobile applications and Health & Safety practices, ensuring all work is carried out in adherence to company Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS). A proactive attitude with the ability to plan ahead and suggest improvements is required.

Qualifications
PA1 / PA6 Certificates are required.
A full UK Driving Licence is essential.
Enhanced DBS check and two satisfactory work references will be required due to the nature of some service contracts.
