As Head of Independent Partners, you will lead and grow our Sales and Account Teams focused on acquiring and expanding small and medium-sized business (SMB) partners primarily through phone-based outreach across the UK & Ireland. Reporting to the Country Director and as part of the local Management Team, you will set strategic direction, ensure alignment with growth targets, and empower your teams to drive strong, scalable performance.

You will lead a motivated, high-performing team of approximately 26 FTEs, including 3 Team Leads, fostering a performance-driven, metrics-based sales culture focused on results, operational excellence, and continuous development. You will coach and empower your team, drive recruitment and onboarding, and implement capability-building initiatives to raise the bar on commercial excellence.

In this senior leadership role, you will own the entire new partner acquisition funnel—from lead generation and qualification to conversion—and be accountable for retention, growth, and commercial output of existing Independent Partner accounts. You will develop strategic growth levers, translate these into actionable goals, and take direct responsibility for revenue, budget, and performance of your function, ensuring global best practices are effectively localized.

Requirements

Experience
Deep experience leading and scaling high-performing Sales/Commercial teams in the UK, ideally within a fast-paced, KPI-driven global marketplace or platform business environment. Proven track record in acquiring and growing Restaurant/Food Retail accounts in the UK (Ireland experience beneficial). Strong knowledge of phone-based partner acquisition and sales negotiation.

Qualifications
No specific formal qualifications required; however, relevant experience in sales leadership and commercial growth within the SMB sector is essential.
