The Infor M3 Functional Finance Consultant will focus on translating complex business and accounting requirements into functional configurations within Infor M3. Working alongside a dedicated Infor M3 Technical Administrator, you will act as an internal advisor to the finance team, ensuring alignment between finance processes and technology systems.
Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Process Alignment & Decision Support: Serve as the primary interface between Finance, Product, and Tech teams to analyze and optimize financial processes within M3.
2. Functional Configuration & Application Management: Perform hands-on functional configurations in the Infor M3 Finance module, managing ledgers, accounts payable/receivable, asset management, and cost accounting.
3. Cross-Module Integration & Workflow Optimization: Maintain understanding of adjacent modules and ensure smooth financial entries and reporting.
4. Power User Support & Change Management: Provide advanced support to finance users and author functional documentation and training guides.

Experience
- Significant experience as a Functional Consultant, Business Systems Analyst, or advanced Power User focused on ERP optimizations.
- Proven collaboration with corporate accounting, controllers, FP&A, or finance teams to translate financial requirements into enterprise solutions.
- Experience working with third-party vendors and external consultants on ERP initiatives.

Qualifications
- Strong functional proficiency in Infor M3 Finance core modules.
- Hands-on ability to configure business logic, parameters, and financial matrices within M3 without backend coding.
- Solid understanding of corporate finance and accounting workflows including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cost Accounting, and multi-entity consolidation.
- General knowledge of adjacent modules such as Procurement, Order Management, Inventory, and Warehousing and their integration with Finance.
