About the Role
At Too Good To Go, our mission is to inspire and empower everyone to fight food waste together. More than one third of all food produced globally is wasted, contributing to 10% of greenhouse gas emissions. Through our marketplace app, we connect businesses with surplus food to consumers who can purchase it at a reduced price. As a certified B Corporation, we also create educational tools, explore new business solutions, and influence legislation to reduce food waste.
We are seeking an exceptional Sales Specialist to join our London team and help grow our impact in the UK. In this role, you will build connections and grow our community by signing up independent food retailers such as restaurants, cafes, convenience stores, bakeries, and takeaways. You will be the first point of contact for these stores, conducting cold acquisition primarily via phone and email, with some in-person visits. Your responsibilities include introducing potential partners to Too Good To Go, training them on using the app, advising on food waste solutions, researching the market, identifying decision-makers, and generating interest.
This is a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-growth social impact company where your efforts directly contribute to reducing food waste and environmental impact.
Experience
Experience pitching and closing opportunities over the phone and/or in person is beneficial, especially cold-calling. Previous sales or business development experience is an advantage but not essential.
