About the Role
CMDP+ is seeking a Mechanical Supervisor to join our Southern Water Framework. This role is part of the CMDP+ joint venture between MWH Treatment and Costain Group, delivering construction schemes to maintain and improve Southern Water’s water supply and wastewater treatment works across the South and Southeast regions. As a Mechanical Supervisor, you will oversee site mechanical installations, ensuring adherence to SHE standards and safe systems of work. You will be responsible for maintaining high-quality outputs in line with current standards and specifications, conducting site inductions and toolbox talks, and ensuring compliance with mechanical safety rules and documentation. Regular mechanical safety inspections on both temporary and permanent equipment will also be part of your duties. Experience
- Previous water or wastewater site experience is preferred
- Proven supervision of mechanical installations on site

Qualifications
- HNC or higher qualification within Mechanical Engineering discipline (essential)
- SSSTS or SMSTS certification (required)
- AAW Membership within a relevant professional body is advantageous
