About the Role
As an MRF Team Leader, you will operate the Materials Recovery Facility (MRF) with a strong focus on safety and customer service excellence while meeting company objectives. You will serve as the primary contact for service users, providing expert recycling guidance and customer support. Your leadership will build and maintain strong team dynamics through effective coaching and mentoring of staff. You will demonstrate leadership by upholding organisational values and engaging with stakeholders. Responsibilities include monitoring and reporting KPIs, maintaining high housekeeping standards, clear communication channels, managing employee performance and attendance through proper documentation and review processes, and ensuring compliance with safety policies and legal requirements while leading by example.

Experience
Proficiency with CMS systems and practical understanding of the waste hierarchy. Experience in managing teams and maintaining high standards of safety and customer service is essential.

About you
Strong communication skills and interpersonal abilities. Competent in IT skills, particularly with the Google platform. Understanding of working time directive regulations. Ability to lead by example and engage effectively with stakeholders.

Qualifications
IOSH Managing Safely certification is required.
