About the Role
Are you passionate about water sustainability and seeking an opportunity to make a meaningful impact? We're looking for a dedicated Operations Manager to lead our Water Recycling team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of our water recycling facilities, ensuring efficient and effective management of resources, maintaining compliance with regulations, and optimizing operational processes to maximize efficiency and sustainability.

Key duties include ensuring environmental compliance and regulatory requirements are met, active management of resources, championing collaboration across catchment areas, coaching employees to maintain standards at optimum cost, managing operational incidents, maintaining assets per service agreements, ensuring compliance with Water Recycling Procedures, building relationships with regulators and customers, identifying capital investment needs, and ensuring health, safety and welfare of all employees through relevant company policies. The role also involves effective allocation of costs and includes an element of management standby.

Experience
Extensive experience within a Water Recycling environment in a proven leadership role or degree-level education with capability to lead a team. Experience of financial management is advantageous. In-depth understanding of Water Recycling process technology is desirable.

Strong communicator with the ability to tailor communication to a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. Customer service skills with the ability to liaise and work empathetically and professionally with multi-disciplinary teams. Resilient and able to prioritise effectively in high-pressure situations. Confident working autonomously and as a strong team player and advocate of collaboration. Flexible approach to work including management standby. Full UK Driving Licence required.

Qualifications
Health and Safety qualification such as IOSH or strong understanding of Health & Safety legislation and its application in the workplace.
