About the Role

As part of one of the largest collaborative and multi-disciplinary water and wastewater infrastructure teams in the UK, you will work alongside experts delivering drainage design, SuDS, and surface water management projects for a wide range of clients including water companies, local authorities, highways and rail authorities, and developers. This is an exciting opportunity to lead hydraulic modelling frameworks with a leading UK Water Company from our Peterborough office.
In this role, you will lead projects related to Storm Overflows Discharge Reduction Plans, flood alleviation, and environmental solution development. You will be responsible for model build, maintenance, verification, and the development and delivery of wastewater catchment strategies and solutions. Ensuring quality outputs and compliance with standards and specifications will be key, alongside driving continuous improvement in project delivery. You will also support project managers in managing projects and programmes, contribute to tender responses and fee estimates, and supervise and develop staff to support their professional growth.

Experience
- Proven track record in coordinating and delivering technically excellent hydraulic modelling projects
- Expertise using InfoWorks ICM and ICM Exchange
- Experience in hydraulic modelling, catchment planning, and solution development
- Ability to review and provide quality assurance on work delivered to clients
- Familiarity with MS 365 applications; knowledge of PowerBI and SharePoint is advantageous
- Experience with software such as FME, Optimatics, Ruby (or similar) is desirable

Qualifications
- Relevant degree or vocational qualification
- Chartered status with a relevant professional institution (e.g. ICE or CIWEM) is advantageous
