About the Role
Join Gaia Talent as a Principal Environmental Scientist and lead the delivery of Environmental Impact Assessment Reports (EIARs) and regulatory planning strategies for major infrastructure projects across Ireland. You will head multidisciplinary teams to produce high-quality EIAs and planning documentation, ensuring compliance with Irish environmental legislation. This role involves developing environmental management strategies, coordinating with clients, regulatory authorities, and internal experts, and reviewing and approving EIAR chapters and specialist studies. You will also mentor junior scientists and contribute to business development initiatives. Projects span energy, transport, and strategic development sectors, offering diverse and impactful work.
Experience
- 6 to 10 years of Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) experience within environmental consultancy.
- Proven experience managing EIAR projects and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Strong knowledge of Irish planning and EIA legislation.

Qualifications
