About the Role
We are recruiting a Principal Fire Engineer to join a growing team of fire safety professionals. You will be responsible for delivering comprehensive Fire Safety Risk Assessments (FRAs) across residential, commercial, and public buildings. Your role will ensure compliance with the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 and the latest guidance. Key duties include reviewing and validating FRA reports with a strong focus on quality, managing your own workload and site survey schedules effectively, maintaining and improving internal quality assurance and fire safety procedures, preparing fee proposals and monthly client invoicing, and contributing to tenders and supporting business development. Experience
- Proven background in conducting Fire Risk Assessments across a variety of property types
- Experience in managing workload and site survey schedules
- Strong technical report writing and stakeholder communication skills
- Ability to lead, coach, and influence others effectively

Qualifications
- Minimum Level 3 Award in Fire Risk Assessment
- Registered Fire Risk Assessor (IFE/NFCC or equivalent)
- A degree in engineering or surveying is desirable but not essential
