About the Role
We are recruiting a Senior Planning Lead for the largest environmental and planning consultancy in Ireland. This senior-level Town and Regional Planner role will lead our Dublin planning office with a key focus on recruiting, developing, and managing a high-performing multidisciplinary team. You will provide strategic leadership, oversee project delivery, and drive business development to expand our presence and influence in the Dublin and Eastern region.

Key responsibilities include leading and managing the Dublin office and team, overseeing planning applications, development plans, masterplans, and policy reports, ensuring compliance with planning and regulatory standards, building strong client and stakeholder relationships, representing the company at consultations and forums, and identifying new business opportunities within the planning and development sector. You will champion innovative and sustainable approaches to planning and urban development.

Experience
- Minimum 7 years post-qualification experience in Town and Regional Planning
- Proven track record delivering complex planning applications and leading project teams
- Experience in a leadership or senior management role
- Strong knowledge of the Irish planning system, legislation, and policy landscape
- Experience managing budgets and resources in consultancy or public sector environments

Qualifications
- Degree in Town Planning, Urban and Regional Planning, or related field (Master’s degree preferred)
- Chartered Membership of the Irish Planning Institute (IPI) or equivalent professional body
