With continued project wins and a strong forward order book, we are seeking a Principal/Associate Environmental Consultant with experience in Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) and consenting projects to join our Scotland Team. This role offers excellent career development opportunities for an enthusiastic candidate looking to progress their career to the next level.
The role will likely include:
- Working collaboratively with a range of technical specialists on a broad range of projects
- Leading and coordinating Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) and related consents
- Leading on and supporting bids and tender opportunities
- Acting as technical lead on projects
- Engaging with stakeholders and clients
- Assisting in developing new areas of business
- Project management
- Mentoring and supporting junior colleagues
Experience
- Proven experience in EIA and consenting projects
- Experience of delivering projects from bid to completion
- Experience of bids and tender preparation
About you
- Educated to degree level in an environmental or related discipline
- Enthusiastic and outgoing with a passion for the environment
- Understanding of consenting and permitting across a range of project types and jurisdictions
- Ability to adapt to change, work under pressure and deliver technical excellence
- Excellent reporting and analytical skills
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills
Qualifications
- Membership of a professional body
- Chartered Environmentalist, Chartered Scientist or equivalent (preferred) or working towards this
