About the Role
This role offers an excellent opportunity for a suitably experienced Civil Engineer to further develop their career, taking on increased responsibility for both technical delivery and project management. Key responsibilities include: leading the technical and digital delivery of civil engineering projects; preparing and reviewing survey specifications, including utilities and topographical surveys; checking and coordinating the production of studies, assessments, and conceptual designs for development schemes such as drainage, highways, utilities, earthworks, and flood risk; liaising with regulatory bodies and key stakeholders to secure approvals and ensure compliance; contributing to bids and proposals; attending project meetings; and confidently communicating technical solutions.
Experience
- Relevant experience, ideally within a consultancy environment, delivering highways and drainage design for residential, commercial, and wider infrastructure schemes.
- Proven track record of delivering infrastructure projects working with developer clients and contractors.
- Proficient in industry-standard software including InfoDrainage, AutoCAD, and AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Familiarity with ArcGIS is welcomed but not essential.
- Interest in integrated AI solutions is a plus.

Qualifications
- Civil Engineering degree (BEng) and/or Master’s degree (MEng).
- Progress toward Incorporated or Chartered status with the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE), or membership of CIWEM or CIHT is preferred.
