About the Role
Are you passionate about improving the environmental performance of infrastructure development projects and helping the UK deliver its net zero commitments? Join AECOM’s established Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) team of over 165 professionals across the UK and Ireland. As a Senior EIA Consultant, you will coordinate environmental inputs to EIA screening and scoping reports, Environmental Statements, and supporting documents, including technical review of specialist chapters. You will be involved throughout all project life stages, from early strategy and site identification, through feasibility, optioneering, design, construction, and operation phases. This role offers exposure to a diverse portfolio of large-scale development projects including energy generation (carbon capture, hydrogen, renewables), energy transmission, carbon capture pipelines, national and regional rail, highway improvements, regeneration, and developments across ecommerce, minerals, waste, water, defence, aviation, commercial, residential, and industrial sectors.

You will ensure the highest quality standards in deliverables, develop project management skills by coordinating resources and budgets, and collaborate within integrated design teams to improve environmental outcomes. The role involves direct client contact and supporting business development activities including fee and technical proposal preparation. Join a forward-thinking team delivering innovative infrastructure projects that uplift communities and enhance lives.
