£46,000 to £65,000 per annum, depending on skills and experience
About the Role

As a Senior Project Engineer, you will oversee the design development of multiple water and wastewater network projects from initial concept and feasibility through to contract award. You will identify, analyse, and mitigate project risks to enable clear scope definition and robust contractor pricing. You will ensure contractors undertake detailed design and implement any necessary design changes during construction. Additionally, you will support Project Teams during asset commissioning and handover, conduct design reviews to ensure safe and robust solutions that meet business and operational requirements, and act as the key contact for the CDM Designer or Principal Designer role during initial design stages. This role requires a valid driver’s license and access to a car, although candidates without a vehicle are encouraged to apply.
Experience
- Proven experience in project delivery within process industries.
- Understanding of Health & Safety requirements in the Construction Industry.
- Experience overseeing design development and managing project risks.

Qualifications
- Engineering HNC, degree, or master’s degree in a relevant Engineering discipline.
- Chartered engineer status or approaching chartership with a relevant professional organisation.
- Valid driver’s license preferred but not essential.
