36 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with 2-3 days on-site

Salary
£46,000 to £65,000 per annum, depending on skills and experience

About the Role

As a Senior Project Engineer, you will oversee the design development of multiple water network projects from initial concept and feasibility through to contract award. You will identify, analyse, and mitigate project risks to enable scope definition and robust contractor pricing. You will ensure contractors complete detailed designs and make necessary design changes during construction. Supporting Project Teams during asset commissioning and handover will be a key responsibility. You will conduct design reviews to ensure robust, safe solutions that meet business and operational requirements and act as the key contact for the CDM Designer or Principal Designer role during initial design stages. A valid driver's license and access to a car is preferred but not essential.

Experience
- Proven experience in project delivery within process industries.
- Understanding of Health & Safety principles in the Construction Industry.
- Experience managing design development and contractor coordination.

Qualifications
- Engineering HNC, degree, or master’s degree in a relevant Engineering discipline.
- Chartered engineer status or approaching chartership with a relevant professional organisation.
- Understanding of industrial process decisions within your engineering discipline.
