About the Role
When you see the world as we do, you see the chance to help the world take better care of its resources, and help it become a better place for everyone. We’re looking for someone who’s just as committed as we are to push for genuine change and bring our ambition of Ecological Transformation to life. At Veolia, everyone helps work alongside communities, look after the environment, and contribute to an inclusive culture.

In this role, you will work on energy performance upgrade projects and take responsibility for the commercial control of multiple contracts, bids, and processes. You will identify risks, liabilities, and commitments within contractual agreements and ensure the business fully understands any potential impact. Protecting the commercial interests of the delivery team at all times will be key.

You will lead, mentor, and manage staff within the team, estimate and implement effective cost control mechanisms, and manage subcontractors including enquiry, drafting, measurement, valuation, agreement, and payment. You will lead project procurement and provide timely, high-quality management reports to the Project Manager and Senior Leadership Team when requested. Additionally, you will provide commercial support to other business departments and handle day-to-day commercial and subcontract administration issues.

Veolia offers access to a company pension scheme, discounts on groceries and well-known retailers, resources to support physical, mental, and financial health, 24-hour access to a virtual GP for you and your household, one paid day per year to volunteer, and ongoing training and development opportunities to help you reach your full potential.
