About the Role

As a Senior Service Coordinator, you will manage day-to-day service delivery, including the dynamic allocation of work to vehicles and routes. You will communicate regularly with customers, stakeholders, and drivers, providing status updates and maintaining strong relationships. Your responsibilities will include managing debriefs with front-line staff, reporting necessary actions, and supporting drivers to resolve any issues encountered on their routes. You will also report safety concerns or container damage and promote a safety-first culture by encouraging ‘stop the job’ if conditions are unsafe. Supporting the Operations Manager, you will ensure legal compliance on-site, including Working Time Directive (WTD), O’Licence, and transport regulations. Driving continuous improvement on KPI performance and managing the direct reporting line for all drivers and Service Coordinators will be key aspects of your role. Experience
Previous experience in a similar industry such as waste, transport, or logistics is essential. Experience operating within transport compliance and Working Time Directive (WTD) regulations is required.

About You
Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with people at all levels including drivers, frontline employees, and customers. Strong organisational skills to manage a busy workload and operate efficiently in a fast-paced environment. A UK driving licence is essential.

Qualifications
