About the Role
Shape the future of our cities and environments by joining AtkinsRéalis, a world-class engineering services and nuclear organisation. You will be part of a collaborative ecology team of over 130 specialists working on a wide range of habitat creation, research, development, and major infrastructure projects. Our team is passionate about making a positive difference to the natural environment by engaging early in projects to ensure ecology is considered from the outset, driving nature positive schemes.
In this client-facing role, you will support nationally important infrastructure projects by managing project programmes and budgets, planning and undertaking field surveys, analysing and interpreting survey results, and designing and coordinating ecological mitigation. You will author and review ecological reports and licence applications, including complex Habitat Regulations Assessments (HRAs).
You will actively engage with other business areas to cross-sell AtkinsRéalis' capabilities, prepare bids, support strategic opportunities, build client relationships, and drive work-winning in the region. Innovation is encouraged, and you may coach, mentor, and support other staff members in their development. Tailored mentoring and support will be provided to help you achieve career goals such as Chartership, with access to relevant internal and external training courses.
At AtkinsRéalis, we prioritise flexible and inclusive working environments with staff wellbeing at the centre of all decisions. We offer hybrid working options and flexible holiday allowances to help you balance a great job with a fulfilling personal life.

- Ideally, project management experience including technical, financial, and quality assurance aspects.
