About the Role

We are looking for a committed Service Delivery Manager to join our Collections team and help bring our ambition of Ecological Transformation to life. You will organise resources including people, vehicles, and equipment to prioritise the well-being of our people and service to customers and communities. Your responsibilities will include ensuring training and competency checks are in place, monitoring operational performance, resolving complaints, and driving a first-time collection culture while meeting all contractual KPI's. You will lead people and assets to exceed service expectations, develop strong relationships with client officers and residents, and ensure operations comply with Veolia Minimum Requirements and improvement plans. Additionally, you will investigate safety incidents, underperformance, and disciplinary matters to maintain a safe and efficient working environment.

Experience
- Proven experience working as part of a team with strong communication and leadership skills
- Experience in a similar operational environment is essential
- Knowledge of environmental regulations, waste handling, disposal, and recycling processes
- Understanding of Health & Safety protocols and compliance requirements
- Excellent project management, organizational skills, and attention to detail

Qualifications
- Valid full UK driving licence (essential)
- IT skills relevant to the role
- Desirable: HGV Driving Licence, IOSH training, experience in waste management operations
