About the Role
As a Sweeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of streets and public areas. Your duties will include manual sweeping of streets, footways, channels, alleys, subways, and areas around street furniture according to your beat list. You will be trained to remove dirt, dust, litter, debris, leaves, vegetation, and other matter to meet the required contract standards. Responsibilities also include ensuring gully grids are clear of obstructions, emptying litter bins and replacing liners, reporting fly-tipping, graffiti, fly-posting, or damaged bins to your Foreman, and maintaining the cleanliness of your equipment. You may work alone or as part of a team, using cleaning machines when directed. You will be expected to complete tasks on schedule and provide feedback on any issues encountered during your shift.

Experience
Good communication skills and time management are essential.
Previous sweeper experience is desirable but not required.
