Hours
Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, 8:00am to 5:00pm. Event based overtime on evenings and weekends available.

Salary
£37,000 per annum, plus annual performance bonus and Veolia benefits

About the Role
As a Service Delivery Manager, you will manage your time and prioritise workload for yourself and your team to meet deadlines supporting event and non-event day operations. You will embed Veolia’s values in daily operations and handle customer escalations promptly to ensure customer satisfaction. Maintaining courteous and professional relationships with the public, clients, staff, and colleagues is essential. You will master operational management including inventory control and fleet coordination, establish professional stakeholder relationships across Veolia departments, and analyse operational systems to present data-driven recommendations for equipment and process improvements. Your role includes conducting performance analysis, incident investigation, complaint resolution, and implementing corrective actions. You will apply problem-solving methodologies to address complex operational challenges and drive performance excellence by establishing quality standards and achieving key performance indicators. Promoting personal ownership of health and safety practices through risk assessments, record-keeping, monitoring checks (vehicles, PPE), accident investigations, and security measures for depots, vehicles, equipment, and stores is critical. You will ensure compliance with HR policies, facilitate team communication and collaboration, manage conflict resolution, and meet budget requirements by maximising productivity, controlling costs, managing holiday rotas and overtime, and controlling requests for goods, services, and supplies.

Experience
- People management, developing and training teams
- Customer service experience
- Operational health and safety experience including training, assessments, and inductions
- Good working knowledge of Health and Safety regulations
- Experience in the waste sector/industry
- Strong communication skills including presentations and written reports
- IT skills and experience in a similar environment
- Excellent project management and organisational skills
- Strong attention to detail and record-keeping abilities
