About the Role
Join AtkinsRéalis as a Wastewater Hydraulic Modeller and contribute to a wide range of exciting projects across the UK and internationally. You will develop computer models to investigate flooding and environmental challenges, generating outline solutions and analysing hydraulic sewer model outputs. Your work will involve building, verifying, and analysing 1D and 2D models to assess flood risk and flooding mechanisms. You will handle and analyse data, use GIS software such as MapInfo and ArcGIS, and support survey planning and supervision. Working within a large, collaborative multi-disciplinary team, you will support junior team members and proactively solve environmental problems for clients. Experience
Entry level candidates are welcome, ideally with some demonstrable experience in wastewater modelling using InfoWorks ICM. Good analytical skills and a desire to learn are essential.

About you
You will have an understanding of the UK water industry, environment, and sustainability, with a strong desire to apply your skills to environmental challenges. You should be a proactive self-starter, eager to develop technically and working towards a professional qualification. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required, along with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
