About the Role
Join AECOM’s dynamic and multidisciplinary Water Team as a Wastewater Hydraulic Modeller. You will play a key role in delivering impactful water projects across the UK and internationally, contributing to flood alleviation schemes, pollution reduction, and infrastructure developments. Our modelling team is fully integrated with wider project teams, working closely with experts to develop comprehensive solutions. As an industry leader in Blue-Green infrastructure and nature-based solutions, you will work with public and private sector clients including Severn Trent, Anglian Water, Uisce Éireann, Northern Ireland Water, the Environment Agency, and others to deliver Flood Risk Assessments, Drainage Strategies, DWMPs, hydraulic models, and detailed designs. Experience
Working knowledge of hydraulic modelling, including model build and verification of sewer networks, integrated model development, and catchment scale strategic solutions for flooding and pollution risks. Experience with hydraulic modelling software such as Infoworks ICM is essential.
About you
Detail-oriented problem solver with a strong understanding of sewer networks and hydraulics within sewerage systems. Excellent communication skills to prepare and review technical reports and presentations. Motivated to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams and committed to continuous professional development.
Qualifications
Graduate level qualification relevant to hydraulic modelling or water engineering. Working towards professional chartership with a relevant institution is expected.
