You will enjoy working in a collaborative environment applying your skills across a diverse range of clients and projects.
We are recruiting for Graduates in the following services and locations: Landscape Architecture – London, Exeter, Bristol, Manchester, Glasgow, or Edinburgh.
Working as a Graduate in our Environmental Services teams means engaging with innovative projects and learning about various aspects of services such as Nature Advisory (including Marine & Aquatics), Air Quality, Acoustics, or Landscape Architecture. You will contribute to projects across a broad range of clients, sectors, and scales.
Projects include involvement in local and national initiatives such as active travel plans, HS2 Rail, Renewable Energy projects, public realm designs for town centres, pedestrianisation schemes, Cultural Heritage fieldwork surveys and reports for Sizewell, East-West Rail constraints reports, and road schemes in Northern Ireland.
Within the Landscape Architecture team, you will support client projects alongside senior staff, contributing to landscape design and assessment across various sectors. You will develop skills in sustainable design, reporting, graphics, and scientific thinking while working on projects of varying sizes. Day-to-day activities may include providing landscape consultancy services, technical input for strategic studies, LVIA and TVIA technical reports, design development from feasibility to detailed design, hard and soft landscape detailing and specification, tender and construction support, and post-construction management. You will use software such as AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite.
Our two-year Graduate Development programme supports your personal and professional growth through blended learning, core business and professional skills training, career development workshops, mentoring for professional registration, and on-the-job experience. We encourage achieving chartered status with professional bodies and provide full support through professional institution training agreements.
At WSP, you will be part of a global team of over 69,000 employees dedicated to making a positive impact in communities worldwide. We offer a culture of innovation, integrity, and inclusion, with flexible hybrid working policies, health and wellbeing support, and a strong focus on career development.
