About the Role
At WSP, you will have the opportunity to work on landmark infrastructure projects and contribute to meaningful change globally. As a Senior Engagement Consultant within our Land, Infrastructure Planning and Engagement business unit, you will join a growing team dedicated to best practice in engagement, community relations, consultation, and stakeholder management. You will be supported by senior specialists and act as a trusted client advisor, delivering public consultation and engagement activities across multi-disciplinary projects in sectors including road, rail, utilities, water, environment, health, and energy.
Your responsibilities will include helping communities and stakeholders understand projects and their impacts through clear, accessible communications; providing opportunities for feedback via events, surveys, and published materials; interpreting and presenting consultation data to inform project development; and supporting clients across the UK and internationally with engagement advice and activities such as virtual consultation rooms, posters, banners, public-facing maps, and community events.

Experience
- Degree-qualified or equivalent relevant experience in a related field
- Experience in road, rail, utilities, water, environment, or energy sectors
- Proven track record leading engagement processes on multi-disciplinary projects including stakeholder engagement strategies, consultations, data coding and analysis, and report writing to meet legislative requirements
- Experience managing junior team members or line management through project delivery
