About the Role

Our Transport & Mobility Planning team comprises over 350 experts across the UK and Ireland, delivering multidisciplinary projects for public and private sector clients. Our specialisms include transport strategy and policy, active travel planning and design, public transport planning, research, feasibility studies, training programmes, and funding applications.

We are seeking expressions of interest from Transport Planners and professionals with complementary skills who are interested in joining our growing team. While specific roles and responsibilities will vary depending on experience, typical tasks may include leading transport planning projects and proposals, managing multidisciplinary teams, supporting client engagement, preparing transport statements and assessments, and leading technical reviews.

You will have the chance to collaborate with our Net Zero, Future Mobility, Freight, Public Transport, Active Travel, and Transport Communications practice groups, contributing to innovative strategies and sustainable transport solutions. Experience
- Experience in active travel, public transport, transport programme or scheme development, and/or business case development
- Experience developing transport-focused strategies, plans, and policies
- Experience working with Local Authority and Combined Authority clients
- Experience managing and coordinating transport assessments and strategies for major or complex projects
- Ability to manage and prioritise multiple projects and tasks to meet deadlines
- Experience delivering presentations and liaising with diverse audiences including colleagues, public sector officials, and project stakeholders
- Commercial awareness and ability to support wider team management
