About the Role
At Veolia, our drivers play a pivotal role in delivering essential services that help communities and protect the environment. As a 7.5 T Driver Team Leader, you will ensure contractual obligations are met on time and lead your team to complete priority routes efficiently. Your responsibilities include assisting your Manager with daily vehicle and equipment checks, managing staff sign-ons and reports, distributing daily worksheets and route maps, and ensuring all daily logs are completed and submitted. You will maintain clean and safe depots and areas and may deputise for your Manager when required, while operational, disciplinary, or financial matters are escalated appropriately. Additionally, you will undertake contract monitoring surveys and assist with report generation. Occasionally, you may be asked to perform other duties as needed. Experience
- Valid 7.5T Licence / C1 Licence
- Valid CPC and Tacho Card
- Experience managing and leading a team
- Local geographical knowledge
- Experience using waste management systems, including Echo
- Experience working with local authority clients
- Good IT skills

About You
- Effective communication skills
- Prior experience in waste management is desirable
- Reliable, organized, and able to work independently and as part of a team

- Relevant driving licences and certifications as listed above are essential
