About the Role
Join Affinity Water as an Acoustic Logging Technician and make a real difference by helping detect leaks across our water network. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for individuals looking to develop technical skills in the water industry. No previous acoustic logging experience is required as full training will be provided. Your key responsibilities will include locating water main fittings across the network, deploying and collecting acoustic logging devices, using electronic leak detection equipment to record and analyse noise samples, accurately documenting activities using company systems and processes, meeting operational targets including deploying and collecting a minimum of 80 loggers per day, following all health, safety and environmental procedures, and safely handling equipment including lifting and replacing manhole covers.
Experience
No previous acoustic logging experience required; full training will be provided.
About you
Enjoy working outdoors in all weather conditions. Be reliable, proactive and self-motivated. Possess basic IT, maths and English skills. Able to work independently and as part of a team. Comfortable with physically active work and manual handling tasks. Willing to work flexible hours, including occasional night shifts. Hold a full UK driving licence.
