About the Role
A brilliant opportunity has arisen to join Affinity Water as a Customer Service Technician (CST) in the Egham area. As a CST, you will be part of a team managing the operation of Affinity Water’s below ground network, ensuring the network is stewarded, customers are served, and water quality is preserved at all times. You will play a key role in delivering a quality customer experience that meets expectations consistently.
Your responsibilities will include investigating, advising, and reporting on enquiries within prescribed timescales while keeping customers informed throughout their journey. You will help preserve water quality by ensuring all works comply with regulatory and company standards. You will steward the network by planning and executing network isolations to facilitate planned and reactive works, investigating visible leakage reports, and completing Network MOTs to assure asset accessibility and operability.
As you develop your expertise, you will support Affinity Water in making well-informed, efficient, and cost-effective decisions regarding the operation, repair, and maintenance of the network.
Experience
A good understanding of water network design and operation is essential to help ensure the organisation meets its regulatory requirements and performance commitments.
About you
Excellent communication skills and a customer-centric approach are vital, with a commitment to going the extra mile for customers. You must hold a full, clean manual UK driving licence to travel between sites and offices.
Qualifications
Relevant qualifications or experience in water network operations will be advantageous but are not explicitly stated. A willingness to learn and develop within the role is important.
