About the Role
Join Affinity Water as an Acoustic Logging Technician and make a real difference by helping detect leaks across our water network. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for individuals looking to develop technical skills in the water industry. You will be locating water main fittings across the network, deploying and collecting acoustic logging devices, and using electronic leak detection equipment to record and analyse noise samples. Accurate documentation of activities using company systems and processes is essential. You will be expected to meet operational targets, including deploying and collecting a minimum of 80 loggers per day. The role requires following all health, safety and environmental procedures and safely handling equipment, including lifting and replacing manhole covers. No previous acoustic logging experience is required as full training will be provided.

About you
Enjoy working outdoors in all weather conditions. Be reliable, proactive and self-motivated. Possess basic IT, maths and English skills. Able to work independently and as part of a team. Comfortable with physically active work and manual handling tasks. Willing to work flexible hours, including occasional night shifts. Hold a full UK driving licence.
