About the Role
Murphy is recruiting an Agricultural Liaison Officer to support the Energy GGP - ATNC project from Norwich to Tilbury. Our company is renowned for its extensive in-house expertise, experience, and continuous innovation within the industry to create added value for customers. A typical day involves managing coordination between Statutory Undertakers, Highways Authorities, and Land Owners to ensure smooth project progress with minimal public disruption. You will promote a collaborative approach to deliver consistent communication to affected communities, working towards the best outcomes for all parties.
Key duties include maintaining a database of stakeholders, keeping them informed of project activities, setting up exhibitions, meetings, site visits, and producing newsletters, leaflets, and signage. You will also establish and maintain a public helpline to respond to queries and complaints, respond to insurance claims, and maintain a top score in the Considerate Constructors Scheme.
Additional responsibilities include working with local schools to offer safety talks and assist with construction-related projects, as well as giving presentations to professional bodies and handling rigorous questioning professionally.
