Role Overview

We are recruiting experienced Air Source Heat Pump Installers to deliver high-quality domestic installations across the UK.

This is a field-based role working on customer sites, where you will take full ownership of installs from start to finish. You will be expected to work independently from technical specifications, complete installs to a high standard, and represent the business professionally in customers’ homes.

This role is best suited to installers who can hit the ground running and confidently manage jobs without close supervision.

Important Eligibility Information

• This role is only suitable for experienced installers with proven hands-on Air Source Heat Pump installation experience
• Plumbers looking to transition into heat pumps without direct ASHP install experience will not be considered
• You must have a full UK driving licence and your own vehicle
• You must be willing to travel nationally for installations
• You must have the right to work in the UK

What You’ll Do

• Install domestic air source heat pump systems safely and to a high standard
• Work from technical designs, surveys and specifications to complete full installations
• Install cylinders, emitters, pipework, controls and associated components
• Carry out testing, system checks, fault-finding and commissioning
• Complete paperwork and handover notes for each installation
• Maintain high standards of health and safety and compliance with regulations
• Represent the business professionally in customers’ homes
• Keep work areas clean, tidy and organised
• Work closely with supervisors, electricians and office teams to keep jobs on schedule

• Proven experience installing domestic air source heat pump systems
• Relevant plumbing and heating qualifications, plus heat pump-related training or certifications
• Strong understanding of domestic wet heating systems, including cylinders, controls and system balancing
• Ability to read technical specifications and complete installs independently
• Experience managing full installs from start to finish
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving ability on site
• Good communication skills and a professional, customer-facing approach
• Full UK driving licence and own vehicle
• Willingness to travel nationwide

Strongly Preferred:

• Experience on larger domestic installs
• High-quality finish and tidy workmanship
• Flexible approach to travel and scheduling
• Unvented hot water qualification
• MCS or renewable heating experience
• CSCS card or similar

• £40,000 to £47,000 basic salary (PAYE) - Dependant on experience
• £350 per month travel allowance
• Salary review after initial period based on performance
• Field-based role across the UK
• Regular travel required, with possible accommodation for distant jobs
• Full-time, permanent
